The article examines examples of punishment of noblemen in the early Modern History by dishonoring their coat d'arms in various European countries. These cases testified to the increase of royal power in the sphere of estate heraldic identification.

Based on little-known in Russia sources and literature, the author tells about the life of Jews in Germany in 1933-1945 and proves that many German Jews, who became the first victims of Nazism and forced to choose between submission and Resistance, chose the Resistance.

A.V. Zorin. The Problem of Withdrawal of the US Army from Czechoslovakia in 1945
In the spring of 1945 the US Army divisions took part in the liberation of Western Czechoslovakia, creating an American occupation zone on its territory. The article analyzes some problems of their further stay and withdrawal from the Czechoslovakia after the end of the war.

N.V. Korovitsyna. European East and West: Sociocultural Convergence?
The author analyzes the results of the entry of Central and Eastern European countries into the Western world and concludes that the collapse of socialism and democratization did not lead to adaptation to European/Western values, but, on the contrary, further distanced these countries from Europe.

V.I. Balakin. Foreign Chinese Diasporas and the East Asian Integration Strategy of the PRC 2007-2017
The article examines China's policy towards the Chinese diaspora abroad. Its representatives (huaqiao) often shy away from direct support of the leadership of the PRC, but it steadily and unsuccessfully exerts pressure on the huaqiao, treating them as agents of its influence.

The article is devoted to the identification of trends in the transformation of the image of the Bar Confederation in modern Polish historiography and social memory, beginning in the 90s of the 20th century. The image of the Bar Confederation, formed in social memory, influenced the problems of historical research. But the conclusions of professional historians did not always coincide with the position of the public.
