In conference materials the important points of reports of the conference participants are presented. The particular interest is caused by the argumentation of the different, at times opposite, points of view, and also the discussion about actual problems of a historical science and history teaching at the higher school.

Academician A.B.Davidson. Formation of Historical Science in the Countries of Africa. Studying Problems

The history of the countries of the African continent was written by "white" researchers. But after falling of colonial modes there was actual a studying of originally African history, such what it see Africans. This article tells about importance of studying of development tendencies of historical science in Tropical and Southern Africa.

J.V.Ivanov. The Polish Army of the General of V.Anders in the USSR (August 1941 - August, 1942)

In the article on the basis of materials of Archive of foreign policy of the Russian Federation and other sources are analyzed the events connected with forming in the USSR in 1941 – 1942 of the Polish army of general Anders, and also the Russian and Polish estimations. The mentioned facts testify: the USSR followed a policy of preserving of allied relations, honesty carried out agreements with the Polish party, rendered it necessary assistance. The command of the Polish army has refused accomplishment of the obligations taken on participations in war on the Soviet-German front.

1930-E.V.Korunova. Features of the Swedish National Socialism in 1920-thYears

In the article on the basis of the Swedish sources the national socialism history in Sweden is studied. The Nazism in Sweden didn't become mass, having endured popularity peak in 1920th. The Author considers the reasons of unpopularity in the Swedish society of ultra-right ideas and shows a way of degradation of ultra-right parties of Sweden to the intermilitary period.

.. Fomin. British Political and War Aims at the Final Stage of World War I

During the First World War, the British leadership faced the complex problem of defining it’s war aims, notably of combining purely material interests around the world with proclaimed "idealistic" principles. The most important declaration of war aims was a public speech, delivered by Prime Minister D. Lloyd George on January 5, 1918. Britain could not imagine the end of the war without the liberation of Belgium and northern France as well as maintaining of the occupied territories - the German colonies and Mesopotamia. No compromise peace with Germany was possible. The future of Central Europe and Western regions of Russia interested London in a much lesser degree. It was only important to prevent German domination there.

G.L.Arsh. Admiral P.I.Rikord and His Epopee in Greece (1828-1833)

In the article based on materials of Archive of foreign policy of the Russian Empire and the Russian Public Records Office of Navy fleet are in detail analysed the actions of admiral P.I.Rikorda in blockade of Dardanelless in 1828-1929 and his participation in exemption of Greece and maintenance an order there to transfer of power to king Otton in 1833

A.V.Grinyov. External Threat to Russian America: a Myth and a Reality

In the article are considered the cases when Russian America appeared under the threat of an attack from foreign powers, and also local American Indian tribes. Based on an extensive material it is shown that representations about this threat frequently were and remain exaggerated and hardly could serve as the serious justification for sale of Alaska by the USA in 1867
